"Reiki" comes from two Japanese words: "rei", meaning "God's wisdom/the Higher Power", and "ki", meaning "life force energy". It's used to help with reducing stress and for relaxation but it can also help with healing. It's intended to help your whole being - not just your body but your emotions too.
