theGKexperience is not a programme but a community.  We are compassionate, understanding, honest, respectful, determined, motivated and appreciative of each unique member whether young person, young leader, volunteer, staff or board.  Everyone is listened to and has their part to play in creating an environment that is safe, encouraging and welcoming.  A place where anyone can belong. Since our inception, we have supported and improved the lives of over 500 young people across Glasgow.  We currently support around 175 young people and 80 families.  Young people grow in confidence, make friends, learn new skills, improve mental and physical health and have fun when involved with us.  We provide what support they need and build long-term relationships to make the biggest differences. We collaborate with schools, social work and other organisations to ensure that young people are listened to and receive the best outcomes.
